While in high school I wanted to become a Marine Biologist but really all I wanted to do is get in the water with the whales and dolphins. Now that I’ve shed that light on my past, I can tell you I could spend all day at places like Sea World, Aquariums and Ocean Park. Ocean Park is Hong Kong’s version of Sea World.
While at Ocean Park I spent some time watching the sea lions frolick in the water and it was such a delight to see them play, rumble and sun themselves, just like this guy.

On the same day I got home as the sun was setting and couldn’t resist capturing the sunset from our front balcony.

sea-lions – got a photo somewhere of me feeding sea-lions aged about eight at some zoo – can’t remember which one but this does bring it back.

Gerald, I too have a photo of me feeding a sea lion but I was 22/23 and in Hawaii at a sea world type of park. I had forgotten about that until you mentioned your photo. Thanks for bringing back such a great memory.

Both of these pictures are great. The Sea Lion almost looks like a statue.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen sea lions but I can imagine they would be fun to watch. Your sunset is beautiful!
