I is for Ice Bucket

We received this ice bucket as a wedding gift, actually we received 2 ice buckets but the other one needs a good polish.  It’s a silver Moet & Chandon bucket bought from their vineyard in France.

If you look closely this ice bucket has our names on it and our wedding date.

The couples that bought us our ice buckets knew us pretty well because we are big bubbles fans.  For our wedding we provided Picolo size bottles of Moet & Chandon champagne during finger food and then had Piper-Heidsieck served during our entree.  We also named all our tables different French champagnes instead of table numbers. 

Hubby’s father actually collects wine and champagne bottle labels and we were very priviledge to receive enough from him to make our table names using actual bottle labels.

The champagne and table names were a huge hit and then we served the left over champagne up at our recovery bbq the next day.

Here we are having bubbles as a celebration of being together again after almost a month apart.
